A Refuge of Harmony in the Cordoba Mountains
In the serene Cordoba mountains, where the pure air blends with the whisper of trees, emerges a mountain retreat that invites to rest and connect with nature. Casa C.A stands as an oasis of tranquility, designed to offer a family and their friends a relax getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life.
Integrated and Functional Design
The structure consists of two clearly defined blocks, joined by an entrance hall that serves as a link
between the public and private areas. The private wing has three bedrooms and a bathroom, each with
direct access to the outdoors, while the public wing features a spacious integrated area of kitchen, living
room, and dining room. From here, a gallery with barbecue area invites you to enjoy the surrounding
natural environment.
Sustainability and Harmony with the Environment
The choice of regional materials such as stone and wood, combined with an exterior cladding of sheet
metal, not only gives the house a rustic and warm appearance but also ensures its durability and
resistance to the elements. Additionally, the house is designed with dry construction, thus minimizing its
environmental impact and allowing for rapid project execution. The house is oriented to the northeast,
taking advantage of natural light and the best views. The sloped roof has a 30% slope and features a
rainwater collection and utilization system. The house also incorporates passive climate control systems,
such as natural ventilation and thermal insulation, and renewable energy sources, such as photovoltaic
solar energy and biomass.
A Space for Reflection and Encounter
Casa C.A is a sanctuary that celebrates life, love, and friendship in a setting of natural beauty. Every
detail of the design has been carefully considered to offer its residents a unique living experience,
marked by the harmony and serenity of the Cordoba Mountains.
