Inspired by the natural harmony of the crab, a protected inhabitant of the island, our
team at SALVAJE ARQUITECTURA embarked on this project with the vision of creating a unique
accommodation experience in balance with the environment. The result of our work has been recognized
with an international mention for its focus on sustainability and environmental awareness.

Inspiration and Concept
The project idea is based on the observation of the crab, an animal that harmoniously integrates into the
island's ecosystem. The design of the units copys the organic shape of the crab, embracing the existing
palm trees and creating a direct interaction with nature.

Implementation and Connection with the Environment
The units are strategically implanted in the site, minimizing environmental impact. They are located
among the palm trees, taking advantage of their shade and creating spaces to contemplate the natural
surroundings. They are interconnected by a pedestrian path that meanders among the palm trees,
respecting the natural topography of the area.

Design and Spatial Distribution
Each unit is configured as a bridge between two palm trees, dividing the space into two zones: public and
private. The public area contains the living room, dining room, and kitchen, and connects to the vertical
circulation leading to the cabin entrance on the ground floor. The private area contains the bedroom, a
space of tranquility with views of the sea. The bathroom and kitchen are located in the center of the unit,
acting as a dividing element between the two zones.

Materiality and Sustainability
The project is committed to sustainability through the use of natural, biodegradable, and regionally
sourced materials, such as guadua cane. This material allows the creation of an organic and curvilinear
structure, while being resistant and adaptable to the island's tropical climate. The aim is to minimize
environmental impact during the construction and operation of the complex.

Interior Design and User Experience
The interior design is characterized by spatial richness and the fluidity of curved lines, both indoors and
outdoors, creating continuity with nature. The color palette is monochromatic, using the natural colors of
the materials. The idea is to create a unique sensory experience for the user, where they feel connected
to nature and can enjoy the tranquility of the surroundings.

A Touch of Color and Poetry
Do you remember the excitement of childhood, of building a tree house or a secret hideaway? Jungle
Treehouse invites you to rediscover that magic. Each unit is a personal refuge in the treetop, a space
where you can disconnect from the world and connect with your essence.
Imagine waking up with the sound of waves and sea breeze, surrounded by the lushness of nature.
Enjoy a bath under the stars or a romantic dinner overlooking the sea. At Jungle Treehouse, every
moment is a unique and unforgettable experience.

Conclusions
The Jungle Treehouse project presents itself as an innovative and sustainable alternative for adventure
tourism in San Andrés. It offers a unique accommodation experience in harmony with nature, respecting
the natural environment and using sustainable materials and construction techniques. The international
recognition received by this project is a testament to our commitment to environmental awareness and
the creation of spaces that harmoniously coexist with nature.

[19

post-767","proyecto","type-proyecto","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-hoteleria
["GET
